The Kiteboarder Magazine
The Lord of the Wind is a five day kiteboarding competition that is one of the most exciting events in Baja, with a prize purse of $22,000 USD up for grabs and valuable IKA points. Competitors will be keen to step it up a notch and go all out in hopes of securing a podium finish.
Promoted as the largest International Kiteboarding event in Baja, Mexico, it’s goal is to showcase some of the world’s best athletes and to raise much needed funding for ongoing and new Rotary projects. The Rotary Club of Los Barriles Cabo has implemented many local community programs that have included Dengue mosquito eradication, rebuilding homes after Hurricane John, creating computer labs in both the middle and elementary schools.
