Tkb Says:
Of all the ways to score a good kiteboarding selfie, this Hand Mount has got to be the easiest. The Hand Mount is a plastic platform contoured to the shape of your wrist with a swivel GoPro mount on top, comfortable foam underneath and velcro straps to attach it firmly to your hand. The GoPro mount swivels unrestricted in any direction with clickable positions so it’s guaranteed to stay pointing in the desired direction.
One of the biggest selling points on this mount is ease of use. You could always use a selfie stick, or a line mount, but the selfie stick requires kiting with one hand and the line mount takes a little finagling to setup on the beach. The Hand Mount is perfect for all level of riders because you strap it on in a matter of seconds and it leaves both hands completely free to control your kite. The swivel allows you to change the angle in small increments to get different angles of yourself, or turn it 180 degrees and get shots of your friends. We recommend becoming familiar with the wide/narrow frame of view settings on your GoPro. Choose the wide setting for selfies and the narrow setting for filming friends. The only downside of the Hand Mount is that at an arm’s length away the GoPro won’t capture your whole body and the board, but nonetheless, the ease of use makes this a great accessory for kiteboarders of all levels.
For best results, play around with the wide/narrow settings on your GoPro and we also recommend holding your arm out as straight as possible to get the GoPro as far away from your body as possible to get the most inclusive selfie.

Underwater Selfie Rescue - The Hand Mount is great in rough situations like this self rescue because the camera stays out of the way and leaves your fingers free for managing lines.
