F-ONE releases its Kitefoil

The KITEFOIL is here to complement the F-ONE foilboards range!

The F-ONE team has been hard at work to design, engineer, test and optimize their new kitefoil. Using advanced technologies, the shape and profile have been carefully selected and optimized by F-ONE’s in-house naval architect with the foil assembly concept focused on ease of use.

Using a technique called “Pre-preg”, carbon fiber is directly impregnated with epoxy resin; this guarantees a perfect ratio between epoxy and carbon, and represents the highest quality process. Other parts of the foil are made with a new technology called “Forged Carbon”. The “Forged Carbon” technology takes advantage of the same principles as standard “Pre-preg” but uses a different type of fiber which is better suited to mold small parts with complex shapes. These new manufacturing techniques allow F-ONE to build smaller and more reliable parts.

For the conception of this foil, F-ONE focused on a critical aspect of the kitefoil and developed and patented a brand new concept for the assembly of the mast, fuselage and wings. A single screw holds all the parts together: mast, fuselage, front wing and stabilizer and drives the reliability and ease of use for assembling and taking the foil apart for transportation. F-ONE kitefoils are equipped with the fully conical KFBOX, which is compatible with all F-ONE and KETOS foils.
