John Byrne of the Townsville Sailing Club couldn’t be happier.
“I can tell you the Townsville people have really taken to kite foiling. There has been so many stories on all the radio and TV stations and so many people I know all over town are calling and texting me and saying, ‘Wow ! We were on the beach watching.’ or, ‘We heard it on the radio and saw it on TV and we love how exciting it looks.’ Even a politician rang me and said we are getting more coverage and following than he is!”
